A dream come true at @ Meeru Island Resort

For the lovers of sun and paradise beaches, this is the place to be.

I will never forget this feeling holding in my hand the flight tickets knowing that I finally will travel to the maldives. The adventure started at Berlin airport we traveled with Qatar airways which is a really nice airline and had one stop in Qatar. Lucky me I had a nice window seat so that I could see the amazing Maldives when approaching Mail Airport form up above.

At Meeru you find 4 different types of rooms: Garden Rooms, Beach Villas, Jacuzzi Beach Villas, Water Villas and Jacuzzi Water Villas. There are also  2 Honey Moon Suites on the island. The question is what is the difference between the different room types?

The Garden Rooms are situated in the middle of the island one could say in the jungle.  These are the most economic ones. The don`t have sea view and are quite basic.

The Beach Villas (rooms 201 to 259 and 401 to 418) are like 20 m away from the sea..at the beach. There are kind of hidden between the palm trees and you can hear the sea.

The Jacuzzi Beach Villas (rooms 101 to 122 and 601 to 661) are more or los situated like the Beach Villas, the difference is, they have a Jacuzzi.

The Water Villas (rooms 503 to 509) are right at the sea- here you have a beautiful view at the sunset- the have a terrace right at the beach.  

The Jacuzzi Water Villas are the most expensive ones (rooms 301 to  344 and 701 to 733). These villas are constructed two meters above the water.  You feel like living in the middle of the sea. I can recommend you the Jacuzzi Water Villas at the north side of the island (habitaciones 301 al 344). Here the sunsets are more beautiful to enjoy. Also the area where the beach is is more lovely at the north the island.
